These terms apply to your use of this website and, where relevant, to Coast Rugby, Coast Care Rugby and Coast Foundation programmes and events run by Coast Academy. By using this site or enrolling in a programme, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site or our services.
Use of this website
This site is provided for general information about Coast Academy and its programmes. You agree to use it lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or copy, scrape or reuse its content except as permitted below.
Intellectual property
The Coast Academy, Coast Rugby, Coast Care Rugby and Coast Foundation names, logos, crests, text and imagery on this site are owned by or licensed to Coast Academy unless otherwise stated, and may not be reproduced, distributed or used without our prior written permission.
Enquiries and enrolment
Submitting the enquiry form on this website is an expression of interest only. It does not confirm a place in any programme. A place, session time, and any applicable fees are confirmed separately with a parent, guardian, school or facility once availability and any enrolment requirements have been agreed.
Fees, payment terms and cancellation or refund arrangements (where applicable) will be set out separately at the time of enrolment or booking, and are not otherwise specified on this website.
Physical activity, health and safety
Rugby and rugby-inspired exercise involve inherent physical risk, including the risk of injury. By participating in a Coast Rugby or Coast Care Rugby session, participants (or their parent/guardian, or the supervising facility) confirm that:
- any relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies or support needs have been disclosed to us or to the supervising facility before the session;
- participation is at the participant's own risk, and sessions will be adapted where reasonably possible but cannot eliminate all risk of injury; and
- our coaches will follow reasonable safety practices, but Coast Academy is not a medical provider and sessions are not a substitute for medical advice, physiotherapy, occupational therapy or an individually prescribed exercise programme.

Children and vulnerable participants
Where a programme involves children or care facility residents, a parent, guardian or the supervising facility is responsible for providing accurate participant information and for the participant's supervision outside of the session itself. Our coaches are expected to hold current Working with Children clearances (or equivalent) as required for their role.
Photography and media
Photos and video may be taken at sessions and events for use in our marketing, as described in our Privacy Policy. Specific consent is sought separately for identifiable images of children or care facility residents.
Donations and the Coast Foundation
Donations, sponsorships and partnership contributions to the Coast Foundation are voluntary. Any specific terms relevant to a donation or partnership (for example, tax-deductibility, where applicable, or the use of sponsorship funds) will be confirmed directly with the donor or partner in writing.
Third-party links
This site may link to third-party websites (for example, social media or partner organisations). We aren't responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coast Academy excludes all liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or participation in our programmes. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
